The tiger cowrie is a great addition to an SPS tank. With beautiful shells protected by their mantle (foot) they will clean glass and rock work. They grow to a maximum of 4" and larger adults may eat sponge, small anemones, or soft coral polyps. Accordingly they should be housed in a 50 gallon or larger tank to accommodate their size and appetite. Their diet can be supplemented with pieces of nori, or small meaty items.
