Coco Worms have a hard tube that they secrete which houses their vulnerable worm body. They have a beautiful crown and when disturbed they retract it and shut the top of their tube to protect themselves. Coco worms can anchor themselves in a crevice of a rocky reef or in gravel. They filter feed the water using radioles to filter out phytoplankton or liquid organic foods. They need adequate calcium and alkalinity to grow. It should be fed supplements of phyto or liquid organic foods.

Note: The coral is photographed on black egg crate. Each square measures 1/2 inch. If you count the squares it will help give you perspective of the size of the coral. These images are taken top down. Coral will look different depending on lighting and the angle it is viewed at.
