The Pajama Cardinalfish (Sphaeramia nematoptera) is best kept in a 30 gallon tank or larger and should be kept with other Pajama Cardinalfish so they can school. The Pajama Cardinalfish should be kept with peaceful tank mates and have plenty of hiding places amongst plants or rocks.
The Pajama Cardinalfish needs a well balanced diet of meaty foods such as bloodworms, feeder shrimp, flake foods, pellet foods, and depending on its size, live feeder fish.
