The Spider Decorator Crab gets its name due to the fact that they decorate their brownish tan body with sponges, algae, shells, rocks, and even soft corals to camouflage it from predators. This crab is a scavenger and will move around the reef tank rock work and sand scavenging for left over uneaten food. The Spider Decorator Crab should be supplemented meaty foods such as clams, mussels, and chopped fish.
