Here at Canada Corals we are dedicated to running our business in the most sustainable ways possible. This includes making the best use out of our packaging. We are always looking for ways to improve our packaging and make it more sustainable. Here is a comprehensive list of what you should do with our packaging to limit the impact it has on our environment. 

Styrofoam Boxes:

Styrofoam boxes are not recyclable in most Provinces and Territories. The best thing that can be done with them is to reuse them. They make excellent coolers or storage boxes for delicate items. 

Plastic Bags:

Plastic bags are not recyclable in most Provinces and Territories. Please ensure they go with your landfill and do not end up in our environment. 

Paper:

We use paper to fill in empty space in your box. All paper we use is compostable and biodegradable. If your city has green bins, or you have your own compost at home, go ahead and throw our paper in them! Alternatively you may recycle our paper in your regular household paper recycling. 

Cardboard: 

Please remove any tape from the cardboard and dispose in the landfill. Brown cardboard can be used to compost or be recycled.White cardboard must be recycled. 

Please check with your local regulations before disposing of our packaging. Help us keep the Planet and our Oceans clean so that we may enjoy the hobby for years to come.
