Scientific Name: Synchiropus moyeri
The Ruby Red Dragonet has become popular amongst aquarists due to its bright red coloration and bright yellow pectoral fins. The Ruby Red Dragonet is best to be kept in a well established tank with live sand, lots of live rock, and an abundance of hiding spots.
The Ruby Red will do better in a tank with an established copepod population as well as amphipods due to their natural diet. It will also feed on live blood worms, glass worms, and brine shrimp.
